I want a dog. This dog. Don't you want this dog, too?
I have this dream of owning a lot of dogs one day. I'm not sure how many dogs is considered respectable for one person to own, three? Maybe four if one of them is small. Of course, they must have plenty of land to run around and play. Who knows if I'll ever have land for these imaginary dogs of mine, but if I ever have them, they'll have someplace that we can run and play together.
My affection for dogs is for the very reason everyone likes them, I suppose. Unconditional love. Even the worst of dogs still love you, or someone. We had the worst dog, Cooper, when I was nine. Cooper barked and fussed and eventually bit, and so we had to say goodbye. At nine, Cooper was my dog that had given me unconditional love. And I loved him, too, even though he was terribly mean. He wasn't mean to me.
Confession: I could Google image search American Bulldog and scroll for an hour. No, I did not do this to find that picture. Only ten minutes. I might go back for more, though.
